About PROSAR
PROSAR Drug Safety Call Center is located in St. Paul, MN. We are a leading provider of drug safety call center services to the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries. PROSAR provides a complete post-marketing surveillance program including adverse event processing, medical information services, product complaint documentation and safety reporting to FDA.
Summary:
The primary function of this permanent full-time position is to manage medical information functions for a leading industry provider of product and drug safety call center services, ensuring that appropriate medical and drug information is provided to patients, consumers and healthcare professionals on behalf of our clients in a timely manner. Specifically, the candidate must:
- Accurately respond to medical information queries pertaining to client products in a prompt and professional manner.
- Perform scheduled case follow-up as required, documenting pertinent information in a corporate database and communicating this information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Maintain relationships with corporate client representatives, acting as liaison on behalf of the company and assisting with implementation of new client programs and maintaining client information resources.
- Train and act as primary information resource for other information specialists.
Requirements:
- Qualifications of the ideal candidate include a pharmacy degree and appropriate Minnesota licensure
- Two or more years of medical or drug information experience.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to comprehend clinical and technical information and effectively communicate it to internal and external customers.
- Proficiency with the use of standard office computer software.
- High ethical standards and integrity to establish strong relationships and a positive company image within the professional community.
